It’s been said that the two most important days in your life are the day you’re born and the day you determine why you were born. I have been a student of personal development with mentors such as John Maxwell, Zig Ziglar, Andy Andrews, and Jeffrey Gitomer for most of my adult life. However, it has only been in the past few years that I learned my personal strengths compliments of Marcus Buckingham’s books “Now Discover Your Strengths” and “Standout“.
It’s also only been in recent years that in my Faith journey I’ve learned of my Spiritual Gifts. Now armed with my “strengths” and “gifts”, my mission to be a good steward with what has been given to me. Luke 12:48 says “For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more”.
My goal with this blog is to share my thoughts on Business, Ergonomics, Health & Fitness, and Personal Development that will hopefully in some way add value to my reader’s lives.
I plan on posting 1-2 times per week . To insure that you see my newest post, you can subscribe via email by clicking the “Follow” button back on my Home page.

I grew up in East Texas and after graduating from Stephen F. Austin, started my professional career in the golf business in The Woodlands, TX. In 1995 I transitioned to sales in Dallas, TX where my career has evolved with the bulk of my time being spent in the contract furniture industry. Along the way I became a certified personal trainer through NASM with specializations in Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement, and Weight Loss.
While promoting the brand of Workrite and helping people with ergonomic solutions is my career, my personal passion is serving people with my fitness skills. I am fortunate to be able to do both with my job during the week and my church on the weekends. Prestonwood Baptist in Plano, TX has an amazing Sports Ministry which I am blessed to be a part.
I have lived in the North Dallas area since January of 1994 and call it home. With my family roots firmly planted in East, TX, I really don’t ever see moving from this area. Between my love for my church and my large network of friends developed over the past 20 years, Dallas has been very good to me.
